Each October a group of volunteers, the Friends of Manna, hold a networking reception on behalf of Manna. Begun in 1996 by Jim Gray and a few of his neighbors, the event was intended to share with the local community the news of Manna's efforts to revitalize DC's neighborhoods. Over the years the event has grown in size and scope. The Friends of Manna Reception aims to increase awareness of the need for affordable housing in Washington and to raise funds to assist Manna to make our homes affordable.

This year with participation we were able to raise about $150,000!!

*The Manna $500 Club and the Star Supporter programs are mechanisms to allow individual contributors to give beyond the normal ticket price of $60 for the event. In recognition of a $500 or a $100 ticket purchase an individual will be listed in the Manna $500 Club or as aᅠ Star Supporter in the program.*
